Nuclear medicine is a branch of medicine for diagnosing or treating physiologic or pathologic conditions with radioactive drugs. The Department of Nuclear Medicine diagnoses and treats conditions and diseases more safely and comfortably by administering radioactive drugs that can be specifically collected in the target organs or lesions.

We have single photon-emission computed tomography (SPECT) for the diagnosis of brain diseases and heart diseases, total body bone screening for bone metastasis determination and treatment evaluation, and examination and treatment of the hepatobiliary system, kidney, and thyroid.
In particular, we are actively utilizing state-of-the-art equipment such as positron emission tomography and computed tomography (PET-CT), which is used for early cancer detection and metastasis determination, for our diagnose, treatment, and research.
