Outpatient Process

   A referal letter or medical examination reports (National Healthcare Insurance Holder) A referral letter from the primary or second clinic or physical examination report is required for the first visitation of each department at the tertiary level CAU hospital. If you did not bring a referral letter, you should meet the Family Medicine doctor to request a consultation to the other specialty departments. (Exception: Emergency center, Rehabilitation Dept. Dental Dept. and Family Medicine Dept.)

   Billing and Payment Fees could be paid with Korean money or by credit card. Patient should contact the insurance company for the GOP (Guarantee of payment) in advance to receive the direct billing service

Inpatient Process

   Reservation for hospitalization

   Pre-operational evaluation Blood test, X-ray, EKG, Anesthesiology consultation (Pulmonary Function Test and Echocardiogram if patient is over 60 years old)

   Go through the admission process Sign on various agreement forms for the hospitalization
