Resin is basically used to treat tooth decay. It is used for tooth restoration through minimum tooth preparation and restoration of fractured teeth and cervical abrasion.
After removing tooth decay, inlay or onlay is attached through impression taking.
If the nerves, etc. inside a tooth are damaged due to severe tooth decay, etc. the damaged parts are removed and a new substance is filled instead.
