The Department of Pathology makes a final diagnosis of disease through gross examination and microscopic examination of patients’ tissue samples.

We play an important role in determining the scope of surgery and deciding on treatment strategies through histopathologic examinations of all tissues, body fluid, and cells obtained from patients before and after surgery. In addition, we operate a fine needle aspiration cytology laboratory to provide simple but accurate diagnoses.
