The Department of Laboratory Medicine performs the early detection of diseases, prognosis determination, assessment of risk factors of diseases, and determination of treatment effects by conducting biochemical, haematological, immunologic, urine microscopic, nuclear medical, and cytogenetic examinations with blood, urine, body fluid, etc.
For safe blood transfusion, the blood bank takes care of the supply of blood and deals with various relevant tests, blood donation, and apheresis. We are doing our best to provide the best-quality medical service by utilizing our advanced medical expertise and technology.

The Department of Laboratory Medicine provides examination results as soon as possible based on its Laboratory Information System (LIS).

Quality Assurance
To provide accurate results swiftly through strict quality assurance, we acquire domestic and overseas certifications (see below) two to five times a year. In addition, our overall quality assurance activities such as test results, laboratory environment, and safety are evaluated every two years through direct inspection. We have been regarded as an excellent authorized laboratory both at home and abroad, as proven by outstanding evaluation results.
