중The Department of Radiation Oncology, the core of the Chung-Ang University Hospital Cancer Center, provides state-of-the-art cancer treatment and patient-centered medical care services in collaboration with pathologists, oncologists, surgeons, and other cancer specialists.

The Department of Radiation Oncology treats cancer by attacking cancer cells with radiation. Radiation therapy neither requires anesthesia nor causes pain, which means that it is a comparatively safe treatment for older patients. As one of the most important cancer treatment methods, radiation therapy plays an important role in oncotherapy with surgery and drug treatment.

We currently provide fractionated stereotactic radiation therapy (FSRT), three-dimensional conformal radiation therapy (3DCRT), intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), respiratory-gated radiotherapy, and image-guided radiation therapy.

We will provide the best medical care services as a university-affiliated hospital based on our respect for mankind through high standards of education and continuous research activities. We will make effort to gain the trust of our patients.
